Watch this spot for activity from the conference!
On Saturday, April 30, 1999, from roughly 11:00 am to 3:00 pm PDT, participants at the CILT Conference will split into several small breakout groups, organized by theme team. Each of these groups will focus on a topic of common interest to the members of the group. The goal for each group is to define a set of questions, or goals, that capture this common focus, and to begin to lay out a proposal for how the field could begin to address the goals.
This page provides a window into the work-in-progress of these groups. Within each group, a 'scribe' will take notes on a StudyPro laptop with wireless connectivity donated by NetSchools. Periodically over the course of the breakout activity, these notes are uploaded to a central database, allowing all conference participants (and others on the Web) to observe what other breakout groups are doing and identify opportunities for collaboration across groups.
