CILT's annual conference is a gathering of researchers, developers, educators, and policymakers who are collaborating to shape the future of interactive learning environments. CILT99 was held April 29 - May 2 in San Jose, California.
The novel format of this conference combined plenary sessions and exciting speakers with more intimate working sessions focusing on theme team topic areas, designed to promote networking and collaboration.
Theme teams focus in areas with strong potential for new technological and research breakthroughs, including Ubiquitous Computing; Visualization and Modeling; Assessments for Learning; and Community Tools.
