Margaret Honey is the Director of EDC´s Center for Children and Technology (CCT). She has worked in the field of educational technology since 1981. Her primary research interests include the role of technology in school reform, the use of telecommunications technology to support online learning communities, and gender and technology, including issues of equity and access. Currently, she is directing Project Hiller, a longitudinal study funded by the National Science Foundation on the impact of ubiquitous technologies in a school district that has overcome many of the initial challenges of urban school reform and technology integration. She holds a doctorate in developmental psychology from Columbia University.
