Bonnie Bracey is an international teacher, working with several schoolnet initiatives and with the European Children's Television Centre for the World Summit for Children, and a fellow and member of the George Lucas Educational Foundation. She was the only K-12 teacher representative on the Vice President's NII Advisory Council. A former educator at Ashlawn Elementary School in Arlington, VA, Ms. Bracey was a PAEMST winner from the State of Virginia, 1992 Christa McAuliffe Educator (NFIE-NEA), a 1990 Challenger Center Fellow, and a 1998 Earthwatch Fellow. In 1995-6, she traveled the USA in the White House CyberEd Technology Initiative, teaching the use of technology in outreach. Ms. Bracey co-founded the Online Internet Institute (www.oii.org), and has served on numerous national advisory boards.
