We would like to articulate and identify qualities that
are needed in a collaborative design space for CILT designers/members.
We believe that this space is needed to support and sustain the kinds of
collaborative acitvies that CILT members generate in face to face annual meetings. An
integrated space that supports the kinds of processes and collaborative design activities
undertaken by CILT members does not exist. We need to identify the activities in which CILT members are engaging and figure out
how to sustain those activities in a collaborative design space.
We need to collect cases and identify tools before we can build
this collaborative space. We want to ask "What do you use and
why does it work?" and from that develop a sense of the state of the
art and produce a conceptual design blueprint for optimal collaborative
design space. Our assumption is that if we could design a collaborative design
space for CILT, it would have significant implications
that extend beyond the boundaries of CILT.
We seek people who have been surveying the state of the art of tools
and technology. We also like to identify sucessful case studies.
Visualization tools can help us to document and share the process.
